Changing Behaviors
I signed up as a client of Jan Rysdon’s and she introduced me to the “See it, Say it, Zap it” technique. The cravings were mounting and my diet in trouble. Since seeing Jan, I’ve zapped popcorn, peanuts, candy, cake, rice, and white bread. What a powerful technique! I’m currently working on utilizing the technique to avoid other unwanted behaviors, and am really so pleased to endorse her program.

Skin Conditions
For years I've had a mole in the right front quadrant of my scalp and it was never a concern. In the second half of 2007, it seemed to be expanding, so much so, that my hairdresser expressed concern and suggested that I consult a doctor. Upon visiting the doctor, I was reassured that it was not a melanoma but a seborrheic keratosis and nothing to worry about. If I wanted to have it removed it could be lasered or burned off leaving a half dollar size bald spot in the middle of my scalp. I decided to just do a comb over and leave it alone.
I remembered the See It, Say It, Zap It technique that you presented at a Hypnosis Education Association Conference. I used the technique and then took a picture of the keratosis on December 27, 2007.
The very next day I noticed that the keratosis seemed to be shrinking. In the next few days, I was pulling dried chunks of it out of my hair. We took another picture on January 1, 2008,
which showed some redness on my scalp, but the keratosis was significantly diminished.
It continued to dry up and flake off, and by January 3, 2008
it was completely gone. We took 2 photos on that day just to make sure we weren't seeing things.
The last photo was taken on March 23, 2008,
and as you can see there is no scar, no damage, no markings whatsoever and most of all NO BALD SPOT! Thank you Jan for sharing the gift of See It, Say It, Zap It.

Surgery
Jan very graciously came to my home and hypnotized me prior to my surgery for a deviated septum. It was interesting that I suffered no pain, post op. However did have some discomfort due to breathing problems [from the packing placed inside the nose]. I was not apprehensive before the surgery at all and felt confident that all would go well. Thanks, Jan.

After using hypnosis, I went into surgery with a joke in my mind and a smile on my face. Recovery went very well; I had minimal discomfort.

Overall Wellness
With so much happening I asked Jan for help. She, with her calm and nurturing manner, did her "magic" and left me with many tools to help me deal with problems on a day-to-day basis. She is a phenomenal hypnotherapist and a blessing to me.

Dealing with Difficult People
Jan also helped me with the Zap method of dealing with difficult people. She taught me to See it, Say it, and Zap it. It is amazing how well this works. I sort of compare it to blowing off the nuisance and not letting it bother me. A wonderful tool in the wild and wacky world.
