Jan helps her clients prepare for medical, dental, and surgical procedures as well as cope with medical conditions.  She also helps clients realize their highest potential and experience the changes necessary to achieve happy, healthy, and productive personal and professional lives.

Clients who are following a medical practitioner's advice will continue to do so.  Hypnosis -- self-hypnosis -- used as a complementary technique in conjunction with conventional treatments has been proven to be highly effective for people of all ages.  Jan offers non-therapeutic hypnosis, limited to the teaching of positive thinking and self-hypnosis strategies to aid the client.  She does not practice any form of medical, behavioral, or mental health care.  Even though research supports the fact that hypnosis is effective in accelerating healing, by law, she may make no health benefit claims or guarantees for her services.  Hypnotism for the issues related to medical or psychological problems requires a referral from a licensed medical or mental health practitioner.

The introductory session is designed to help you understand hypnosis, to ascertain your area of concern or challenge, and to allow Jan to determine the kind of assistance you will need. Most areas of concern can be resolved in three to twelve full sessions; however, some may take more or less time.  The most successful clients make weekly appointments according to their schedules.
